2. Piles
Piles, also known as hemorrhoids, are enlarged blood vessels inside or around the anus (the opening of your bottom). It may cause symptoms like a lump or pain around the anus, bloody stools, an itchy anus, etc. It is known as Arsh in Ayurveda. It is caused by an unhealthy diet and a sedentary lifestyle. These factors lead to an impairment of all the three doshas, mainly Vata. An aggravated Vata causes a low digestive fire, leading to symptoms of constipation. This causes swelling in the veins in the rectum area. Abhayarishta helps to manage piles by stimulating digestive fire and removing constipation due to its Vata balancing and Rechana (laxative) properties.

3. Fistula-in-Ano
Anal fistula, also known as fistula-in-Ano, is a small tunnel that connects an infected gland inside the anus to an opening on the skin around the anus. It may cause symptoms like pain and swell around the anus. In Ayurveda, it is known as Bhagandara. Bhagandara as the name suggests is composed of two words, Bhaga and Darana. In Sanskrit, the word Bhaga means the area between anus and genitals (i.e., perineum) and the word Darana means to tear apart or to destroy. Hence, the term Bhagandara denotes a wound or tear in the perianal or perineal area. Digestive problems like chronic constipation might cause problems Anal fistula. Abhyarishta has Rechana (laxative) property which helps manage constipation and reduce the symptoms of anal fistula.

3. Loss of Appetite
Loss of Appetite or Anorexia is a condition in which there is little to no urge to eat. As per Ayurveda, the low digestive fire (Mand Agni) in the body may cause indigestion of the food consumed, resulting in the formation of Ama (toxic remains in the body due to improper digestion). This might lead to anorexia or loss of appetite, also known as Aruchi in Ayurveda. It is a condition which results in the imbalance of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas. There are also some psychological factors that lead to incomplete digestion of food, causing insufficient secretion of gastric juice in the stomach, thereby resulting in loss of appetite. Abhayarishta helps to manage the loss of appetite, thirst, bloating, and flatulence. This is due to its Deepan (appetizer) and Pachan (digestive) properties.
